I am always so excited to participate in the Try Me Review Me program from @stylekorean_global, they always have have the latest and most popular brand and products from Korea.- The theme of this #TryMeReviewMe is focus on Cica, which is short for Centella Asiatica. It is the ultimate battle between 2 super well known brands; Cica lines to see which is the ultimate Cica King. For this review, participants were given a choice between VT Cosmetics and COSRX to select which Cica skincare line they wanted to test out and review.
- I chose @COSRX because it is one of the most popular brand in Korea and I have loved many of their products in their other lines. Also I chose COSRX because it is such a beloved Korean skincare brand around the world and their products are not only famous for their affordability but also known to deliver results.

- One of the reason why COSRX is so popular in Korea and around the world is because it has been researching and developing skincare products for 15 years. They are a brand that is ingredients-oriented and focuses on using simple yet effective ingredients to treat and prevent acne, sensitive skin, and other skincare concerns.
- The list of products in COSRX skincare lines all have a minimalistic design to them, yet they focus on having high quality ingredients. One of the differentiator about COSRX versus other brands is that their products have relatively simple ingredients list, so they are skin-friendly for various skin types. COSRX has been recommended to those with acne-prone skin, sensitive skin, and/or troublesome skin, it can also be used for normal, combination, or oily skin.

TEXTURE
It is a creamy foam cleanser that foams light bubbles. It feels super soft in comparison to other foaming cleansers in the market.
SCENT
This cleanser has no added artificial fragrance, which is great for sensitive skins. To me it doesn't smell like anything, and I like my cleanser to be scent free.
APPLICATION
MY THOUGHTS
I really like this cleanser because it does a great job cleansing the skin without over drying it. My skin still felt hydrated after using this cleanser. The foaming action is not as powerful as other foaming cleansers in the market, but I think it's because this cleanser is more gentle on the skin than those other ones. I like the softness of the texture, it is easily mixable with water and it foams really well with just your hands. Overall, it is a great cleanser for daily use specially paired with the other products in the Cica skincare line.

The pad is smooth on both sides and is very thin in thickness. The pads are soaked in essences and every pad has been completely soaked.
SCENT
This pad has has no added artificial fragrance, which is great for sensitive skins.
APPLICATION
Apply to target area to brighten skin, reduce acne scars, fade spots and help with hyperpigmentation. Gently tap until ampoule is absorbed into the skin
MY THOUGHTS
This is my favorite product out of the Pure Fit Cica skincare line. It is definitely one fo the items that I would purchase and repurchase. The reason is this Cica Pad is so versatile, you can use it as exfoliation pad, toner pad, mini mask for targeted spots, or use it to prep your skin as you apply makeup. I love how thin these pads are, it feels super thin and almost invisible when on skin. Arguably it is thinner than most sheet mask material and even thinner than the Cica Calming True Sheet Mask. I love using these pads on my cheeks, mouth area, and t-zone. The area around my mouth is usually more red than other areas on my face, and this pad really helps to calm down the redness and soothes any irratations. Highly recommended!

Mix together a small amount of Cosrx toner or serum with the Cosrx Pure Fit Cica Powder, then apply the mixture evenly onto the skin, focusing on troubled areas.
MY THOUGHTS
I have never seen a powder in form of Centella Asiatica ingredients, I have seen Silver powder, Vitamin C powder, Green Tea powder, even Turmeric powder, but Cica powder is definitely very rare in the market today. The instructions says you can mix this either with toner, essence, or serum. So I think this a very versatile skincare product to incorporate into your skincare routine.
The powder texture is super fine, and very easily mixable with other products. You can even mix it with water-based emulsion, moisturizer, or cream. The key ingredient features1000 ppm of Pure Fit Cica-7 Complex (including Centella Asiatica leaf & root extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, and Madecassoside), which has soothing, calming, restoring, and protective benefits. The ingredient list also contains Pinus Pinaster Bark Extract which relieves and strengthens skin's defense against external stressors. Another antimicrobial, antibacterial, acne fighting ingredient is Zinc Oxide, it combats skin irritation and inflammation.
In the video, I show how I mix this @cosrx Cica Powder with the Pure Fit Cica Serum. I think the best method is to rub your hands together until all of the powder disappears and is completely mixed in with the serum. After applying this mixture on my face, I noticed it gives a somewhat matte finish. This is great for those who doesn't like the glossy look, also I think it makes pores look smaller! After using it consistently for a few days, the main benefits that I can see from using this powder is that it does help calm redness in skin, soothes inflamed spots, and promotes the recovery of blemishes and breakouts.

After cleansing and toning, remove the sheet mask from the pouch and apply the mask evenly on to the face Leave for 15-20 minutes then remove the mask and gently pat in the remaining residue
MY THOUGHTS
I have been using CORSX products for many years now, but this is the first time that I have used a sheet mask from COSRX. Me being a huge sheet mask junkie, I really wish COSRX would make more sheet masks.
My review of this sheet mask is that I think it is a great mask for those with sensitive skin or those that need something soothing to calm inflammation, irritations, or acne spots. Powered by the soothing effects of cult favorite ingredient Centella Asiatica extract, this sheet mask calms skin instantly with long-lasting results. The ingredient list for this sheet mask includes the signature Pure Fit Cica-7 Complex to moisturize and strengthen skin for a clearer complexion. The essence is also formulated with pycnogenol to nourish and revitalize skin.
The sheet mask material is a soft cotton mask, completely soaked in essences, but it is not as thin as other sheet mask in the market. Also there is a lot of extra essences even after taking out the sheet mask.
Because this mask is from COSRX, I can use it with confidence that I am not going to have negative reactions to this sheet mask. Also I have been using the other products in the Cica line during the past few weeks, so it nice to use a sheet mask that match the same brand and skincare line as my skincare routine. With that said, because I don't have sensitive skin and I currently don't have any active acne spots to treat, this sheet mask did a good job of hydrating my skin, but other than that, I did not see much other benefits. I still think this a good day-to-day sheet mask, especially if you are already using COSRX products in your skincare routine and would like to step it up to a new level with incorporating a sheet mask

MY THOUGHTS
I think this is a decent toner, by itself it is probably less special, but I really like using all of the skincare products in this line together. It has a better result than using them separately. I really love this because it is uncolored & non-fragranced. It helps hydrate and balance skin pH level

MY THOUGHTS
I recommend this serum even if you are not using every product from this Cica line, it is my second favorite item from this collection. I love the thicker serum texture, it feels very nourishing and hydrating. I specially like mixing the serum with the Cica powder, without the Cica powder, it has a more glossy look after applying the serum. However with the Cica powder mixed with the serum, it has a more matte finish look to it. I noticed it definitely makes my pores looks smaller, I can even wear this as a no makeup look.

MY THOUGHTS
I like the lightweight yet moisturizing effect of this cream. The texture of this cream is very soft, once spread out on the skin it is absorbed quickly into the skin. It combats moisture depletion, it is filled with hydrating ingredients and protects the skin with a thin layer of moisture barrier. This cream calms and repair skin at the same time. Also because it does not contain fragrance or harsh chemicals, it is suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin types.
- Overall Experience
I really enjoyed testing out all of the products from the Pure Fit Cica line. I have been testing out this set from @cosrx for a few weeks now and I have been loving the soothing and calming effect. I think these products are great for daily skincare routine especially if you want to use something simple and effective. In comparison to other skincare lines that Cosrx has, I think the Pure Fit Cica line has intense repair and calming effect specially targeted for sensitive, acne-prone, and all skin types.
So then comes the ultimate question, which product would I purchase with my own money? I would say the Cica Pad and the Cica Serum are my favorites from this line. The Cica powder is an interesting idea, but I think because the bottle is so small and the amount of products in it is not enough to last for a long time, I would put that as a maybe. In terms of the other products in the Cica line, I think they are all decent items, not particularly special but I think they work really well together as a full skincare routine.
